EcoMove can repair and service scooters of all kinds, either purchased from us or elsewhere.
We’re not able to perform a PDI on non-EcoMove scooters, and electric scooters will need to be inspected before deciding whether the repair can be carried out.

Our Bristol-based scooter workshop services are carried out by expert mechanics that care passionately about the quality and value of their work.
In its lifetime, your electronic scooter will experience its fair share of bumps. Sometimes it’s a simple fix – a new tyre or replacing a broken light – but if it’s a mechanical or electric mystery our expert technicians will need to run diagnotics. We charge £30 +VAT for every 30 minutes of their time and aim for a same-day fix.
We normally zero in on the fault and can carry out the service, no sweat. However, If the fault is undeterminable or the cost of the repair is more than the scooter is worth (a write off), the diagnostic fees still apply.
Scooter Pre-Check Required
Our technicians will attempt to repair all manual and electric scooters to get you on your way safely and efficiently. On occasion, the part you require may not be available, in which case we’ll go back to the manufacturer for the repair. We’ll need to assess the scooter before we decide whether to carry out the repair on scooters bought elsewhere. Due to the parts not being available to us, we are unable to replace electrical components on scooters we don’t stock. If one of our technicians identify an electrical problem on a scooter that we don’t sell, they will advise you on the next course of action.

- We offer a drop-in workshop service even if you haven’t bought the e scooter from us.
- Will offer a diagnostic (if applicable) of potential issues, along with parts and repair costs.
- Our general workshop costs start at £28 per half hour. Guide prices for a range of typical workshop jobs are shown here. However, we always prefer if you give us a call or drop in to discuss your needs.
- We also offer to recycle all lithium-ion batteries.
- Please note prices for parts may vary based on your scooters manufacturer.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long do e-scooter repairs take?
We'll always aim to have you back on the road same day. However, more complex repairs can take more time. We'll always let you know up front how long the job is likely to take. In instances where we do not have the parts for a particular model we may ask you to order the part and we can fix it on for you.
How much do e-scooter repairs cost?
Repairs start from £28 for a simple fix if you have the necessary part. Sometimes a diagnostic check (charged at £25) is required to fully understand the problem. In some cases it doesn't make economic sense for you to spend a great deal to fix your e-scooter and we will always give you our honest opinion on what is best for you. Our technicians are charged at &15+VAT for every 15 minutes of their time.
All repairs vary in price due to a number of factors around the general state of the device and the make and model itself. We will be as transparent as possible before we undertake any repairs so you know what you can expect to pay.
What type of e-scooters do you repair?
We aim to work on as many brands and models of e-scooter on the market. We can get parts for Xiaomi, Ninebot Segway, Inokim, Kaabo, Inmotion, Unagi, Dualtron and some other well known brands. We are seeing more and more "clones" that require very specific parts to repair and cannot always promise we can fix the issue.
