OVERVIEW
EK1 – THE LITTLE BROTHER OF EK3
Following the successful market launch of the EK3 in autumn 2020, electric two-wheeler manufacturer HORWIN is further expanding its range of electric scooters. Since January 2021 his new little brother HORWIN EK1 joins him.
COLOURS
MOPED WITH UPBEAT COLOURS
The two eye-catchers are largely identical in appearance and dimensions. The big differences: While the EK3 has a center engine, the EK1 is equipped with a wheel hub engine. The max. power is 2.8 kW, which classifies it in the vehicle category L1e. This also makes it clear why the EK1 is considered to be the small brother of the EK3 (6.2 kW/ L3e).
With the upbeat colours orange and medium blue as well as matt black and white, the moped or motorbike also appeals to a younger audience. Highlights of the EK1 equipment: all-round LED lights, automatic light switch-off delay, cruise control, reverse gear, helmet storage compartment under the seat and ergonomic design.
BATTERY
HIGH VOLTAGE INTELLIGENT LITHIUM BATTERY
HORWIN EK1 is equipped with a 72V high voltage intelligent lithium battery. With 26Ah volume, the max range reaches 70km (Standard Range). With 36Ah volume, the max range reaches 100km (Comfort Range).
It‘s also optional with two removable batteries available. The SOC monitoring system and modern battery management system BMS can effectively reduce failures and provide multiple protection.
MOTOR
HIGH POWER HUB MOTOR, VISIBLE STRONG DRIVING FORCE
The HORWIN EK1 is equipped with a high performance hub motor of 2800W max. power. The motor has high energy exchange efficiency with low power consumption and boosts instantaneously super driving force.
LED Lights
INTELLIGENT THREE LENSES LED HEADLIGHT
High intensity, power efficient LED lights all round to cut through the dark nights and a “follow me home” function provides extra convenience & safety.
The headlamps are fitted with three LED lamps. Their bright and white light allows them to literally cut through the darkness. An automatic switch-off delay function when the lights are turned off illuminates the way to the garage or front door before you dismount.
COCKPIT
A COMPLETE OVERVIEW THANKS TO A MODERN COCKPIT
The LCD display shows all kind of driving information, driving data is available at anytime. The display-colours are green, blue or yellow and depend on the speed you are driving. This is the perfect combination of fashion and technology.
SUSPENSION

The EK1 scooter is fitted with twin hydraulic shock absorbers at the front and rear. They offer the rider an outstanding riding experience – regardless of the road conditions.

Got an e-bike from Eco Move recently and very pleased with it! Makes cycling into work much nicer. Mark and Nilloy were super kind and helpful when it came to ordering the bike and making sure everything got sorted. I also had to bring my bike in for some break adjustments and Jack sorted it all out and undid the mess I made of it trying to adjust it myself. Bought a bike through EcoMove 6 months ago and had a few questions about how smoothly it's was running. Popped in after work at gone 4:40pm expecting only an opinion. The technician couldn't have been more helpful. Gave the bike a good check over, fixing chain tension and tightening brakes. Then found and sorted core issue with spokes on rear wheel. Great customer service.

Picked up the bike on Saturday morning, not quite ready when we arrived had walk along the harbour and a coffee, ready when we returned. My wife is absolutely over the moon with her first E bike and the service at the shop 5***** . Hills absolutely no problem.Would highly recommend.
